I dont know how old your brother is, and maybe this might seem a little stupid but maybe you could find some old comic books [Maybe if you have a store like Half Price Books around]. Or, if you can remember what books or movies he liked as a kid you could try to find a couple of those.
[Ugh sorry... I didnt finish the comic book part. Anyway, well my brother likes comic books which is a little nerdy or 13 year old boy-ish but whatever, so maybe finding really old comic books and wrapping them up kind of cool somehow.]
