I guess I’d like to start out this spotlight with words from the band itself, mainly because they make me giggle.

Selling Indie-Rock back to the Indie-Rockers the way The Beatles sold Rock and Roll back to the Americans, The Los Shoegazers hit the scene hard with their social commentary on modern life.

Self-proclaimed mock rockers, you know these guys mean business when their Myspace default photo is an empty can of PBR topped with a couple of green olives. Leaving aside the fact that this photo was probably taken in one of the band member’s garages, their sound isn’t that bad. Okay it’s actually sort of catchy in a post-modern “Rock Lobster” sort of way. (I know that sounds pretentious but listen to the mp3 below and you’ll understand. I swear!) I think it’s best put if you think of them as the musical equivalent of the Questionable Content of webcomics. You’re sort of trying to make fun of that demographic, but what you’re mocking is basically your entire fan base. Anyway, just give it a listen and tell me what you think.
